Terms of Service

By accessing or using the NLA Academy platform, courses, interactive e-books, readers or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you are using NLA Academy on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.

Creating an account is free. Registered members can read every course introduction at no cost, including the DISLEADERSHIP introduction and all eight Young Leader level introductions.

Full course access — chapters, modules, assessments and certificates — requires an active subscription or a one-time programme purchase. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

Children’s programme access is created and managed by a linked parent or educator account using an 8-character invite passcode. Adults are responsible for supervising the accounts they create and for the accuracy of the information they provide on a child’s behalf.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout in US dollars and include any applicable taxes where required.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and retain access for the remainder of the paid period. If a programme does not meet your expectations, contact us within 30 days of purchase and we will review your refund request.

All course content — including the DISLEADERSHIP book, the Young Leader series, module text, illustrations, video, coaching cards and assessments — remains the exclusive property of NLA Academy and its authors.

Your membership grants a personal, non-transferable licence to access the material for learning. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publicly post, or use the content to train machine-learning models without written permission.

You agree not to:

• Share account credentials or resell access to course material.
• Attempt to bypass access controls, licensing or level progression.
• Upload unlawful, harmful or infringing material, or misuse the AI Study Companion.
• Disrupt or probe the security or availability of the platform.

We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, with notice wherever practical.

Certificates are issued when a learner completes a programme and passes its assessments at the published threshold (80% or higher). Certificates recognise completion of NLA Academy coursework and do not, by themselves, constitute a professional licence or a state-issued academic qualification.

NLA Academy provides educational content in good faith but does not guarantee specific professional, organisational or academic outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid to NLA Academy in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may revise these terms as the platform develops. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date and, where significant, communicated to members by email.
