Introduction

Having a successful company country will lead to high and great achievements in the same country. In the UAE, there are many companies with different activities providing many services to people in order to achieve their goals. Background After reviewing Dr. Saeed’s academic biography, which indicates a high ambition and passion for development, learning, and perseverance.

Dr. Bin Ghulaita is the founder of the office of Obaid Al Falasi and Saeed Bin Ghulaita for Law and Legal Advice, and the founder of the arbitration office in the same company. When the office was established in 2006, the services provided were for companies only.

Dr. Bin Ghulaita’s firm is one of the offices that cooperate with all courts in the Emirates, as it carries more than one judicial system. The federal system, which includes the four Emirates, which are Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al- Quwain, and Fujairah. As for the Emirate of Dubai, which falls under a separate system, the Emirate of Abu Dhabi also falls under a separate system, and the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

Dr. Bin Ghulaita Law Firm provides legal advice in various disciplines such as personal status, corporate, criminal, real estate in buying and selling, and for the rental dispute center in Dubai. It is also an agent of many companies operating in the country, including national and personal, such as Nakheel Malls and Real Estate Company, Al Kharbash Investment Company, Ahmed Al Shafar Company, and many companies. In terms of hotels, it’s an agent of some hotels, including Rotana Hotels.

Figure 31: A promotional photo of the law firm Company Mission and Vision Vision: Commercial attitude and in-depth regional understanding provides a unique perspective of handling laws.

Mission: Introduction of local laws with smart and efficient ways as international practices advise businesses that are at the heart of UAE commerce and trade.

The company’s mission is to present local laws in smart ways from the reality of international practices by using some applications and programs that provide customers with a direct and rapid response to the general inquiries required and to provide advice and guidance to companies operating in Dubai. Emphasis was placed on the Emirate of Dubai because the company is located in the emirate of Dubai, specifically near Burj Khalifa.

Operations/Business Strategies Dr. Bin Ghulaita explained the way the company operates and that the principal is divided into two parts. The first section is the client who wants to obtain advice. The methods of advice are also divided into two types. The first type is for a personal interview and by booking an appointment for a consultation. This is about determining the type of case or counseling, in order to determine the appropriate person who specializes in law. If the case is related to personal status, then the lawyer is one who specializes in personal status, and that is with regard to direct advice to clients. The second service is the indirect consultation that takes place through a smart method, which is via the website that is considered private to the company. The website is divided into two or three sections, in which the lawyer is in charge of answering questions within two hours only, and this lawyer is specialized in all public cases and inquiries. The website is used to publish general information and if the answer requires a specialization, then it is transferred to the attorney in charge of the subject, noting that this service is provided free of charge. As for the second part of the services, it is affiliated with the Ministry of Justice with the presence of lawyers registered in it to follow up and answer the questions, but the questions are chosen by the lawyer himself with the presence of fees according to the agreement between the law firm and the Ministry of Justice. The third service that is provided on the company’s website, is dealt through social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, and WhatsApp). These three mechanisms work for advice and guidance that make it easier for people to solve their problems without raising a case.

The second method and service provided are monthly or annual contracts. An example of this is Nakheel, a national company owned by the Dubai government, which is looking for citizen lawyers to contract with it by transferring a certain number of cases in exchange for money. From them, these cases are handled and resolved. This is an example of annual contracts as presented by Dr. Bin Ghulaita, and there is a type of client who comes to hear about this company by saying they want to meet Dr. Saeed or Mr. Obaid, for example. Dr. Saeed also mentioned that the Emirate of Dubai is working on an electronic system, before the coronavirus pandemic, and that he is working to solve cases and submit notes and invitations electronically without entering the court. The municipality and other concerned authorities are also contacted electronically, for example obtaining a commercial license, which is called the electronic platform for cases of more than 30 million. However, after the spread of the coronavirus, all cases were approved in this electronic manner. On the other hand, the Emirate of Dubai also has an electronic archive to use legal principles, and this is what makes it different in terms of efficiency.

Organization Structure/Leadership About organization structure, there are three offices nationwide in Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman. They are under the same institution and the same administration and sectors of lawyers responsible for the Emirate of Dubai and Sharjah, including Mr. Obaid Al Falasi, whose career and professional experience in law exceeds 18 years, and Dr. Saeed, who joined this specialty since 2018, since he was running a body Tuaregs and crises in Dubai, and was the director of national and strategic planning there.

¡ The management group also consists of (Dr. Saeed Bin Ghulaita and Mr. Obaid Al Falasi).

¡ Mr. Saeed AlDahmani represents the Abu Dhabi sector.

¡ Mr. Omar Al Sharif represents the Emirate of Ajman.

The work structure consists of the following

¡ Founder ¡ Board of Directors ¡ General Manager ¡ Administrative Director (who’s responsible for HR / employees requirements) ¡ Operations Manager (Handling core business from the main office to all emirates) Figure 32: The Saeed Bin Ghulaita management team No Marketing in Law Activates Dr. Saeed relies on recruiting efficient and highly experienced people from outside the company, and as he mentioned that it is forbidden for lawyers to issue any advertising or marketing in relation to their field and therefore, this strategy does not apply to them, but it was mentioned that only some lawyers are hosted on TV or radio channels. These companies don’t hire people in their marketing.

Operations Department Regarding the employees of the operations department, which consists of 12 employees from the United Arab Emirates, whose income is considered very high by 45 thousand, which may exceed one million dirhams per month. It also consists of advisors and the memo clerk of other nationalities, since the value of citizens is higher, so other nationalities are used, including exchanging experiences. Dr. Bin Ghulaita also mentioned that the total operations team consists of 25 employees and that it seeks accounting and administrative programs, including Oracle and others in the human resources department. He also mentioned that the employees have experience doing more than one job in the event that a co-worker is absent or on vacation.

It was also mentioned that a multi-skilled employee is multi-purpose and there are three multi-skilled employees. It also has five secretarial employees, and in conclusion it was mentioned that the number of all employees should not exceed 45 to 50 employees.

Business & Legal Challenges

Restructure

Regarding the challenges that Dr. Bin Ghulaita has mentioned, one is that the UAE seeks to be advanced in all fields.. He also mentioned that there are many challenges, including the accumulated experiences that are not available, and the request for continuous development and the ability to develop the system and employees, and that is through study and knowledge.

The second challenge is traffic congestion in Dubai and the high standard of living. The company is located in Burj Khalifa, where prices are high for private parking for employees, quality of food and housing value. One of the challenges that Dr. Bin Ghulaita faces is the search for good consultants with high experience.

An example in terms of facing the challenges

  • Parking for employees and its high prices due to

the geographical location in the heart of Dubai. To solve this problem, the cards paid by the Roads and Transport Authority were purchased for parking lots in Dubai, which helped the company to save money, and in this smart way, challenges are faced at work in trying to search for alternative ways to continue as required and never give up.

  • Dr. Bin Ghulaita also mentioned the Al-Adheed

office of the Dubai courts, which is one of the challenges it faces by taking cases at a lower price, which led some clients and companies to resort to Al-Adheed’s office.

An example of a challenge moving through stages is the coronavirus and quarantine crisis, which led to frustration and thinking about how to act in this situation to pay wages and other requirements. On the other hand, the lack of a precautionary plan in advance has caused a shock for the company when it comes to closing all institutions and companies. But thinking has been made about how to face this crisis through spending from the reserve amount. It was also mentioned that the reaction must change with the data and according to the situation. Dr. Bin Ghulaita also indicated that the launch of the Hope Probe to Mars in light of this epidemic is evidence that challenges and perseverance must not stop. We must overcome the challenge, and this is what we have learned from our leadership.

Successful Business Practices Regarding the best practices according to Dr. Bin Ghulaita, he is creating a citizen generation that understands the law and the problems that exist in all countries of the world by making the leaders of the generation interested in making the UAE always acquired. And from the other way, which is a British way, which is when you come in the morning to work, everyone is reminded of the very important tasks for this day, and then everyone goes to their offices, and before the end of the day, updates on these tasks are done.

From my side, I have been attracted to the below provided service actually on the company website, and he already mentioned this service, but as a customer, it’s a help and a very kind service . From my side, it’s considered as a good business practice which will attract people at the same time so it’s kind and friendly.

Figure 33: Brand Failed Practice With failed practices, Dr. Bin Ghulaita said, “We do not judge legal practices because they are judged by the judge, nor even the clients, whether the client is guilty or not. We just have to help them. And I do not have any wrong practices with the employees because I love teamwork and there are no barriers between offices, so let us hear some and benefit.” He mentioned that in law, it’s difficult to do something wrong because lawyers follow the laws and rules accordingly and my question to him was if he realized something later for an example with the staff that was wrong but the answer was no.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I learned a lot from Dr. Bin Ghulaita, and I was very happy to speak with one of the most successful people in the country, who motivated me to always be in the pursuit of knowledge and the pursuit of a wonderful future and most importantly, not to be afraid of challenges. I realized that the successful ones must work and learn in order to finally reach. And what caught my attention in this character is loyalty to his country and adherence to customs and traditions as well as keenness not to harm people and work in peace only and by merging knowledge with Arab or Islamic customs and principles, really appreciate his effort to give me his time trying to explain and clarify in regard to completion of this case study.

From this case study I advise all students to start planning for their future by learning from this kind of successful people, to motivate them to create their own way for different kinds of achievements, and growth which will reflect to them and to the country of the people.
