Introduction
As a company within the software industry and based in Dubai, Azinova Technologies has made a number of amended solutions to help execute business with very little effort. Moreover, there are a number of companies that are still attempting to find solutions that would aid them in accomplishing their day-to-day tasks and routines with ease and without error. Overall, every company differs from the next, in terms of how it conducts its services and thus, the software that companies would need have to adapt and adjust to their individual needs.
Azinova’s staff thus has to consider these types of companies and develop products that meet said needs.
Through its 13-year history, the company has focused on timely delivery as well as quality to meet the demands of its customers within set deadlines, thereby providing satisfaction and quality. Starting in 2007 as a small Azinova Technologies company within Dubai, Azinova has been able to expand its operations internationally with facilities in Qatar and India. In spite of this expansion, the company has remained a small organization, comprised of less than 50 employees catering to massive areas and developing web and mobile solutions for several customers on several different of platforms.
Mission & Vision
Azinova’s primary mission is to create innovative and new applications that are able to replace contemporary ones within the fields of enterprise resource planning software, branding, hosting, domain software, game development, search engine optimization, smartphone applications, software applications, customized development, web based applications and designs, and other various types of web based solutions.

Each of the company’s offices are managed and directed by a single chief executive officer and managing director who oversee all staff performances and provide feedback and assistance as needed. Additionally, as the company’s Dubai facility is its headquarters, its Qatari and Indian offices are expected to report back to this facility, thereby maintaining a sense of synchronicity and clarity between branches of the company. This type of leadership, one that focuses on communication and clarity, has greatly aided the company in its efforts (Faccia, et al., 2019). The company’s chief executive officer and managing director is Shani L. Ganga, who established Azinova Technologies and is in charge of issuing and assigning projects, developing and improving projects, business analysis, strategic planning, information systems and operations management. With 13 years of software industry experience, Ganga acts as the lead engineer and manager in his own company, thereby guiding all those under him toward success. Conversely, Nibal Nasr is in charge of leading the company in terms of developing strategies to provide it with opportunities, whilst offering quality content that is able to accomplish the company’s objectives. He specializes in sales as his position is that of a leader within the company.
Additionally, Nasr is in charge of software engineering, strategic planning, contract negotiations, technical aid, series and project management. It is through his excellent written and verbal communication that Nasr is able to lead a motivated and engaged team effort through the company. Lastly, Kavin Prasanth is the company’s senior Odoo developer within its India-based facilities and acts as management in said facilities. Prior to this, Prasanth was an Itara-based junior engineer and gradually worked his way up the hierarchy.
Restructure
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, companies such as Azinova and around the world have been forced into letting their staff members go due to them being unable to sustain costs and expenses. This has caused the company’s overall number of staff to fall, and so has the company’s services. Nonetheless, as a software industry- based company, Azinova Technologies has been able to operate in the current climate without struggling too much (Vijayan & Sharma, 2020).

Business Strategies
Azinova Technologies wishes to attain the following by
means of its highly advanced software solutions
¡ To improve organizational competitiveness.
¡ To acquire and retain employees who are highly qualified and add considerable value to the organization in terms of information technology development and usage.
¡ To create new technical and business-oriented information systems for administering and managing day-to-day organizational tasks.
¡ To allow for the sale of licenses abroad through its international offices, thereby offering its parent company with contractual partners in foreign areas and thereby expanding its operations.
¡ To reduce and streamline expenses of operating and maintaining software solutions.
¡ To decrease service equipment expenses.
¡ To increase management activity efficiency.
¡ To increase sales of software, where said software can be adapted to and focused on set organizations and their needs.
Operational Strategies
The company uses a number of operational strategies, the main one including continual service and/or product development. One of the most important things for any company, especially one in the software solution development industry, is to remain competitive. This is something that requires the continued development of new services and products. The company believes that it has to apply a similar amount of focus to operations and control as it does to information technology. An example of this would be when retailing new products, the company provides comprehensive demonstrations and product launches that take place in a coordinated and synchronous manner with the company’s customers to ensure controlled launch and compliance (Faccia, et al., 2019). The strategic direction of this rests in customer and channel identification as some have requirements and profiles that are very different from the company’s main channels. In this regard, Azinova Technologies is able to make use of its flexible operations and systems, thereby being able to operate through various channels. The second strategy that the company greatly relies on is that of supply chain optimization.
Within the last few decades, the sourcing of most products has depended entirely on manufacturing that is resourced from overseas (García-Berna, et al., 2018).
Instead of taking operations into account as being merely warehouses, supply chain optimization involves cost savings, outbound and inbound supply chains to attain advantages and so on. The strategic directions of supply chain optimization can be segmented into
outbound and inbound, as follows
Inbound ¡ Establish portals for vendors to exchange information regarding invoicing, delivering and purchase orders.
¡ Attain visibility by means of inbound shipments of technology equipment.
¡ Enforce and establish contractor and vendor compliance.
¡ Push quality maintenance and value-added services through the chain of supply, thereby reducing delays, rework and expenses in providing customers their final product.
Outbound ¡ Address the manner in which the cost of equipment transportation and the length of time needed to transport equipment to customers can be reduced through third-party fulfillment, last mile deliveries, zone skipping and multi-DC strategies.
Marketing Strategy
Through rigorous research and evaluation of the company, the author was able to find that it utilizes two strategies to market itself. Being a software company that offers equipment in certain cases, Azinova Technologies focuses on marketing its products through search engine optimization and social media marketing.
¡ SEO In itself, the process of search engine optimization involves improving website traffic quantity and quality with the company, attempting to bring users on to its website in order to learn about the company as well as view its services (Vijayan & Sharma, 2020). This mainly involves users being brought to a website through an individual online search engine, like Google or Yahoo.
Search engine optimization focuses on unpaid traffic (also known as organic or natural results) instead of paid or direct traffic. Unpaid user traffic can come from a number of different types of possible searches, apart from search engines, including vertical industry-specific search engines, news searches, academic searches, video searches and image searches (Faccia, et al., 2019).
In using internet marketing strategies such as search engine optimization, Azinova Technologies is able to rely on its highly skilled and dedicated developers to operate algorithms that have been programmed into its computers to dictate the behavior of its search engines including but not limited to what individuals look for, but also the type of keywords and sentences that they use to search a given product or subject matter. The company has mainly utilized industry standards in terms of search engine optimization and thus, is able to adjust its website and other pages in such a way that it ranks higher than those of its competitors in terms of search results. This means that those individuals who visit the company’s website are generally converted into customers through being informed of the company’s products as well as their trust in the company by finding it on the top of search results (Alhashmi, Salloum & Abdallah, 2019).
Currently, the world’s leading search engines such as Yahoo, Bing and Google utilize crawlers in order to seek out pages for their algorithmic results with pages that are linked from other search engines being indexed in such a manner that they are automatically found (Faccia, et al., 2019). The DMOZ and Yahoo directories are two important directories that were closed down in 2017 and 2014 respectively, both of which necessitated human editorial and manual submissions of searches that needed to be reviewed (Vijayan & Sharma, 2020).
Google utilizes Google Search Console, in which a set sitemap made on XML feeds into and is freely submitted to make sure that every page on the Internet can be found, particularly pages that cannot be found by hyperlinks (Khan, et al., 2017).
¡ Social Media Marketing Social media marketing is the second type of marketing.
Azinova Technologies uses social media websites and platforms in order to promote a set service or product (Lebdeh, Qasim & Kharbat, 2020). While academia in certain areas utilizes the terms “digital marketing” and “e-marketing,” social media marketing is a term that is currently becoming popular both in terms of its usage as well as its reference to the action previously mentioned (Borrego, et al., 2019). Most social media platforms have established tools of data analytics that allow companies organizations to track ad campaign engagement, success and progress. Companies can address various stakeholders by means of this type of marketing, including but not limited to, the general public, bloggers, journalists, potential and current employees, and potential and current customers (Jabeen & Isakovic, 2018). Social media marketing, on a strategic level for Azinova Technologies, has meant posting advertisements for individuals who wish to procure a set software solution with interests that match the company offerings. In and of itself, the company’s social media marketing activities include marketing campaign management, scope setting, social media tone, culture establishment, and governance to help the firm establish an online atmosphere for itself.
In using social media marketing, Azinova Technologies is able to enable Internet users as well as customers to see content they have generated, including reviews, comments and so on, in order to engage with the company and market it to others. Essentially, this type of marketing has been highly successful for a company such as Azinova Technologies, as it has been able to amass a small online following that is loyal and is readily informed and communicated with.

Business & Legal Challenges
Through the years, companies such as Azinova Technologies have faced a number of challenges, the main of which include development and advancement of technologies, thereby making it challenging for Azinova Technologies to maintain pace with such changes, and requiring it to adopt to new infrastructures, implement new equipment, provide customers higher value compared to their competitors, offer continued support including upgrades and enhancements, improve mobile application and web solution design and development, and so on. Overall, a number of information technology projects tend to fail with the industry itself continually fluctuating due to the impact of globalization as well as the expansion of the industry to numerous countries, thereby increasing the number of companies within it to near infinite numbers (Jabeen & Isakovic, 2018). There are a number of challenges that companies such as
Azinova Technologies face, which include the following
Developing revenue and identifying reporting as well as requirements for its products.
¡ Attaining a return on investments.
¡ Retaining and attracting talented software developers.
¡ Complicated user requirement levels.
¡ Complex software bug resolution and testing iterations.
¡ Interface and integration issues brought on by changes in trends.
¡ Outsourcing and internal sourcing due to lack of staff.
¡ Market pressures to improve adoption time and rates.
¡ Older infrastructure and legacy systems causing issues.
¡ A high amount of competition brought on by globalization.
How to Overcome Challenges
The software development industry is a highly complex one that requires companies such as Azinova Technologies to adapt to changes rapidly and adjust their pace to meet the requirements of their set user base. Recognizing relevant individuals with the appropriate knowledge and proficiency for development is challenging and the industry itself is growing. Thus, the company has to continue adapting to changes in a timely manner whilst keeping competitors in mind.
The Best Successful Practices
Through the years, Azinova Technologies has been highly successful in maintaining its business by not focusing on sizable expansion, but rather, focusing on expanding its operations whilst keeping its current staff and furthering their experience. Another practice that the company uses is that of personalizing each software it develops for its customers, thus providing individual customers with something that they are able to easily understand and make use of.
Failed Practices
One of the biggest failures of Azinova Technologies has been that it is unable to readily adjust to changes in the market and trends, thereby relying on others to adopt newer technologies, and for customers to ask for these technologies prior to offering them. This has cost the company a considerable amount of revenue over the years.
The Company as of Today
Currently, the company maintains the same flow it has for 13 years. The company has reduced its staff numbers by a small amount, but has been able to maintain its operations on a limited budget. Currently, the company has less than 50 employees, all of whom report to the company’s Dubai office.
Recommendations
In terms of recommendations, Azinova Technologies should attempt to further its adaption of newer technologies and implement improved solutions that are able to fit in the current market, whilst also offering customers the ability to easily understand these software solutions. Additionally, the company should attempt to improve its overall offerings by providing customers with more diverse software that not only focus on business customers, but also individual customers.
Moreover, the author recommends that the company attempts to improve its current size into a medium sized organization expanding its overall scope of the possible number of customers. This would allow the company to easily visit with and cater to more customers, thereby gradually improving its overall customer base, helping the company to cultivate a large following that is loyal.
This would greatly improve the company’s overall end market, as well as allow it to amass a higher amount of profit and recognition around the world. As an already multinational company, it is important for the company to expand its staff numbers to provide more customers with its services.
Lesson Learned
¡ I learned about the following, including
¡ Aspects that software companies have to focus on.
¡ How small companies expand internationally without harming their overall profit margins.
¡ How small companies can continually improve on their offerings and maintain a loyal staff.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it can be stated that Azinova Technologies is a highly successful organization that has been able to maintain a loyal following over the years, with the company readily adopting to and adjusting itself to the market. Although the company has not been successful in implementing new and advanced technologies into its products and offerings, Azinova Technologies has been able to maintain a highly experienced and knowledgeable employee base that has been able to further its overall position within the market greatly.
