National Leadership Academy
Ages 16–24 · students and early career

Everyone wants experience. Start with proof.

The problem at 19 is not ability. It is that nobody will take your word for it. A Track gives you something checkable at the end — a certificate with a number an employer can verify in seconds, earned by passing the same Checkpoints everybody else has to pass.

Enrolment opens later23 tracks · ages 16–24

The Youth Academy opens once every Track has been written for this audience rather than adapted for it. Enrolment is not open and nothing here is on sale yet.

Something you can show someone, earned in a way you can describe.

Why this one

What you are actually buying

It is checkable

Every certificate carries a number that anyone can verify at nlagroup.org/verify without an account. That is the whole point of it — a claim you can hand to a stranger.

You cannot drift through it

Each Sprint ends in a Checkpoint at 70%. The next one does not open until you pass, so finishing means something specific rather than meaning you scrolled to the bottom.

Written for someone with no background

It assumes you have never worked in this and assumes you are perfectly capable of learning it. Those are not in tension, and holding both is the whole voice.

The certificate does not say "youth"

It reads as an Associate designation issued by NLA Academy. Associate is the entry grade professional bodies already use, so an employer reads it without being told how to.

How it works

From enrolment to proof

  1. 1Pick a Track

One subject, start to finish. Leadership, AI, project delivery, marketing — twenty-three of them.

  2. 2Work through the Sprints

Each Sprint is a handful of Briefs — short, readable, no video to sit through.

  3. 3Clear the Checkpoint

Pass at 70% and the next Sprint opens. Get it wrong and you can go again immediately.

  4. 4Sit the Qualifier

One closed-book paper at the end of the Track. Pass it and the Proof is issued in your name.

The standard. Every Sprint ends in a Checkpoint you have to pass. The Qualifier at the end is closed-book, and you can sit it again straight away.

What you hold at the end

Proof

A certificate of designation issued by NLA Academy, at Associate grade, verifiable from its number by anyone you send it to. It is a professional certification and not an academic degree, and NLA Academy says so on the certificate itself.

Every certificate is checkable at nlagroup.org/verify

The other academies

Same subjects, different product

All three carry the same twenty-three disciplines. They differ in who they are written for, how they are structured and what they ask of you — not in which subjects they cover.

Questions

Is this a degree?
No. It is a professional certification issued by NLA Academy. NLA is not an accredited degree-granting body and does not claim to be — the certificate states this in print.
How is this different from the Certification Academy?
Same subjects, different product. The Certification Academy is written for someone already working in the field and assumes that context; a Track assumes none of it, and is structured in shorter pieces with a lower gate and no waiting period on a retake.
Do I need to be a student?
No. The band is about where you are, not what you are enrolled in.
